Salary sacrifice allows you to get a non-cash benefit (in this case a car) in exchange for part of your pre-tax salary. This reduces your Income Tax and National Insurance contributions and makes it a cost-effective way to drive. The amount of pay given will not be subject to these deductions. You will be required to pay Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax on the value of the benefit.
