Zenith Vehicle Contracts will recruit over 85 people this year as the company continues to expand.

The career opportunities will range from customer service to digital and sales. The company is the fastest growing independent vehicle leasing company in the UK.

Zenith is working with schools across the city to raise the profile of a career in the automotive sector and promote its apprenticeship scheme.

Earlier this year Zenith acquired Contract Vehicle Holdings (CVL), which took the total number of vehicles under management to more than 100,000. The move followed private equity group Bridgepoint’s £750m acquisition of Zenith.

Zenith recently announced it is moving to new, purpose-built headquarters in Leeds. The new 65,000 sq ft offices will enhance the company’s environmental credentials. The building is designed to a BREEAM excellent rating and is working toward a low or zero carbon rating. Solar panels are installed on the roof and an innovative energy strategy used.

The new space is over the top four floors of the development and includes spectacular roof level meeting rooms. It will also feature running and cycle routes to help employees stay fit and encourage more car-free journeys.

Commenting on the growth Marisa Waddington, HR director said: “Zenith is undergoing a sustained period of growth and is looking for the best talent to join the business. We have been named in the Top 100 of The Sunday Times Best Companies to work for in the UK for the last four years. Creating a great culture and work environment is central to our business.”

The offices have attracted recognition with a host of awards including ‘Game Changer of the Year’ and ‘Deal of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Property Awards.
